Matt's Ministry Trip to the Call2All

Allen Hood, Stuart Greaves, and Daniel Lim are senior leaders at IHOP in Kansas City. I am privileged to be led by these faithful witnesses to Jesus. The Lord used them mightily to teach and encourage the Church in her place as a Hosue of Prayer for all nations who cries our night and day for justice (Luke 18:1-8).

First...see the below post concerning the Call2All (I will try not to be redundant).

I am back from serving at the Call2All North American Congress with renewed excitement for continuing in the place of prayer, fasting, and study of the Word. My team and I were there to provide support to the team of volunteers and to the speakers from IHOP, as well as provide a prayer covering for the event through interceding in their prayer room. My training at AMS is priceless to me and very important to what God has called me to. At the Call2All I got to see first hand the strategies that the Protestant churches of North America are implementing to join forces with the rest of Christendom to fulfill the Great Commission in our lifetime. The president of Campus Crusade for Christ International (one of the largest missions organizations ever to exist), Steve Douglass, declared with boldness, “Absolutely, the Great Commission can be fulfilled in our lifetimes; from the way God is moving today, even without some terrific eye of faith, I have been persuaded it will be fulfilled in our lifetimes and I personally think in the next decade.” This is HUGE! Matthew 24:14 says, "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come." The "end" is near. Jesus will end this age as He comes and establishes His righteous kingdom on the earth. He is preparing the way for this right now. As you can see from the website it is clear that God is on the move all over the world to be worshiped from every people group.

A few leaders from here in KC whom I work with were keynote speakers at this conference. They spoke on the shift in the Church to a House of Prayer for all nations as we approach the End of this age (as we come very close to the Great Tribulation and the Return of Jesus to the planet to establish His kingdom here forever). The nations cannot be discipled (Matt. 28:18-20) apart from being a house of prayer for all nations (Mark 11:17; Matthew 21:13). We cannot continue doing church 'business as usual' but we need to spend most of our time, energy, budget, etc. on making prayer the center of the Church. Too many churches and missions groups add prayer as a spoke on the wheel of things to do. It must be the core and the center of the ministry in order to effectively disciple anyone, let alone the nations.

In one of the workshops led by Daniel Lim and Allen Hood some of our team (including myself) were asked to share with the workshop attendees (see picture). We talked about our calls to the Apostolic Missions School and how God is uniting our hearts with His as He shows us the union between prayer and missions. I will write more concerning this convergence of prayer and missions in later posts. This conference awakened me to the wisdom of prayer, the urgency of missions, and the Lord's desire to come back and establish justice on the earth.

If you are not reconciled to God...I want to invite you to be wise right now and repent of your rebellion (sin) and place your trust in Jesus to save you from your sins and raise you from the dead when He returns to the earth. He is a perfect leader. Justice will be established. Our great God is coming soon to purge wickedness from the earth and establish His righteous kingdom. Let us partner with Him in gazing on Him (prayer), groaning for His return (justice), giving to mobilize missionaries (financial parntership), and going to the lost (proclaiming the Gospel to the hopeless).
