Overseas Ministry Trip II: Hong Kong

The bright light you see in the above picture is not an angel. It is sunlight shining through a large window that reveals a beautiful view of Victoria Harbor in Hong Kong while our Chinese brothers and sisters led us in the worship of our great God. The below video shows some of that beautiful view. Take a look... It was such a privilege to be at this house of prayer. Our team was immediately connected to their team. They are our family and we knew that there was something special about our brothers and sisters in Hong Kong as soon as we were introduced to them. Once we began to worship together I was given a gift from the Lord. I felt His pleasure in them and in their worship. The worship was genuine and in their own language. I knew that God was showing me that He longs for every tribe, language, and nation to worship Him. I knew that what we were experiencing in worship was blessing God and it was supposed to increase. So, I began to cry out for God to raise up houses of prayer in Hong Kong and especially to make Hallelujah Ministries function 24/7 in worship. I prayed that Jesus would receive worship night and day in Hong Kong. He is so worthy of it. This is a local Chinese food joint that we first went to the night we arrived in Hong Kong. My gut was feeling a bit weird when we got there (probably from traveling 15 hours on an airplane), but the food was so good. I really appreciate that the Coke does not have high fructose corn syrup in it but it actually has real sugar. It makes a big difference. ;o) I know I've mentioned it before, but I really love chopsticks - they're just more fun. I loved Hong Kong a lot and know that I will be back soon (by the grace of God) to encourage my brothers and sisters in their calling as faithful witnesses in Hong Kong. Hong Kong is very beautiful at night because of all the lights and colors (this picture doesn't do it much justice). I know that God has many plans for Hong Kong and trust that I will partner with Him in the future to encourage the people there to walk a life worthy of their calling. Hong Kong is the gateway to much of Asia and I believe God is raising up His house of prayer in Hong Kong to disciple many missionaries to go into Asia and give their lives to being faithful witnesses to Jesus and His coming Kingdom. May Jesus receive worship night and day from Hong Kong and beyond.

Amen! That video gives a great view, but I kept wanting to see the piano player. I felt like I could agree with what the Lord revealed to you about their worship even from that little clip.
